Men love the idea of slimming on a Curry – with 5 pints of Lager!!
This was a statement we were hearing constantly at the shows – men trying the Vindaloo and asking if they could loose weight on this! We realised that there is big market for making this product more appealing to men. Nice and easy to cook, men loved it anyway.
This realisation was enforced even stronger when Tiny Deol’s Curyslim sauces were featured on the BBC Money Programme titled FAT MAN THIN. Curryslim was featured alongside Coke Zero, Nimble, Tesco E-diet, and Nutrislim as the companies which are taking steps to make Diet products more appealing to men.
Tiny’s focus group of university marketing students was shown on the programme, emphasising that the word SLIM has to go if the men were to adopt fat free curries. After a lot of market research, it was decided to rebrand Curryslim as TINY DEOL.
