Read below how Lucy Giaquinto lost over 7.5 stones ( 105 lbs or 48 kgs ), whilst
still enjoying her Tiny Deol Curryslim Curries every week.
Lucy Giaquinto
It was in April 2006 when I had the opportunity of a health check at work. At
first I put off this check as I didn’t want to face the facts as I knew that my
weight had steadily been increasing over the years. I finally decided that at
least if I knew the truth I could face it and start to deal with the outcomes.
The health check was a shock to say the least. I was my heaviest ever at nearly
19 stones. I hadn’t realised how bad it was. For someone aged 30 at the time, my
body mass index should have been under 25 and mine was closer to 40 which gives
you greater risk of developing additional health problems. The health check was
thorough measuring body fat, hydration levels, urinalysis, cholesterol and blood
pressure all of which were fine except my body fat and blood pressure which were
both on the high side and my doctor had to be notified.
Initially I was upset I had just come back from a holiday where my boyfriend had
proposed and I was on a complete high to suddenly be brought straight back down
to earth with a thump. I decided that I would give myself 18 months before I got
married so that I would have a chance to lose the weight and drop several dress
sizes.
I started watching what I ate and making all my food from scratch. No more
Indian takeaways which were my downfall. Myself and my partner would have a
curry which was our treat at the end of the working week but when I started to
count the calories, I was shocked to find out that one takeaway curry would be
nearly 2 days’ worth of weight watcher points so this had to stop.
I thought I would have to give up eating curries forever. I had also started to
take up exercise and was attending classes 4 times a week and the weight was
starting to shift. However it was early on when I went to a local food festival
and came across Curryslim. When I started chatting to the gentleman he explained
to me that one jar contained 1 point on the weight watcher diet. It was very low
in calories and saturated fat and a nutritionist had created the sauces. You
simply added chicken or whatever meat or veg you prefer. We instantly bought 10
jars ranging in flavour from Korma to Vindaloo so that we could vary what we
fancied.
We started immediately incorporating this into our diets and every week we would
have a curry and I never felt that I was craving or missing out on our weekly
treat as we both enjoyed all the flavours. It was not like other low fat sauces
that usually mean no flavour, that’s why they are low fat. Curryslim is bursting
with flavour and if you didn’t know any better you would think you were eating a
full fat curry. As we started to get low on stocks I went on the internet and
saw that they delivered so I ordered another batch to get us through. The
delivery came virtually the next day and was so easy to use. We still eat a
Curryslim curry every week and I have dropped 6 dress sizes and have lost over
seven and a half stones in around 18 months.
I have since got married and recently I had another health check. My weight is
significantly reduced and my blood pressure, body mass index and body fat are
now in the ideal range. I would recommend Curryslim to anyone as I still use it
today as part of my lifestyle change as it is a tasty guilt free meal that you
can enjoy. It is also great value for money to boot!
